Meet the Team Behind The Sign

Leons Full Assets (30).png

A sign company is only as good as the people willing to stand behind the work.

At Leon’s Signs, that work takes a full team. Some of us meet with customers and

help turn an idea into a plan. Some of us handle drawings, permits, pricing,

scheduling, and the details that have to be right before a job ever reaches the

shop. Some of us fabricate, paint, wire, weld, assemble, install, and service the

signs people see from the road every day.

It is practical work. Detailed work. Sometimes hot, heavy, complicated work.

And it matters

A good sign has to look right, fit the building, meet code, hold up in the weather, represent the customer well, and be safe for the people around it. That does not

happen by accident. It happens because people ask the right questions, catch problems early, take pride in their craft, and care enough to fix something when

it is not right.

That is the team we are building at Leon's Signs.

Our installation team brings the training, licensing, experience, and equipment needed to do the job safely and professionally. Each installer holds an electrical

license, each lead installer has OSHA 10 certification, and our installation team as a whole averages 10 years of sign industry experience. They are supported by

newer trucks and equipment, giving them the tools they need to handle the kind of technical, demanding work our customers count on us to complete.

Our fabrication team brings deep hands-on experience to the shop, with an average of 15 years of experience. That kind of knowledge matters when a sign has

to be built correctly, fit properly, hold up over time, and look the way it should when it is installed.

Our sales team is professionally trained in a consultative sales process. That means we are not here just to take orders. We are here to understand what the

customer is trying to accomplish, ask the right questions, explain options clearly, and help guide each project toward the right solution.

Across the company, we are serious about keeping our commitments. Our team delivers signs at an on-time percentage of over 97%. When we give you a

commitment date, we move mountains to make it happen.

We want Leon’s Signs to be a place where customers succeed because they are served well, and employees succeed because they are challenged, supported,

and proud of the work they do. That passion for building success — with our customers and with our employees — shapes how we work, how we train, how we

solve problems, and how we measure whether we are doing the job right.

We are proud of the signs we have across Tyler, East Texas, and beyond. But we are just as proud of the people behind them — the ones measuring in the field,

checking drawings, loading trucks, solving install problems, answering customer questions, and making sure the finished product represents both the

customer and Leon’s Signs well.

We are not perfect. No team is.

But we are clear about what we believe in. We believe in always doing the right thing, being team oriented, and accountability. We believe in staying growth

minded, and we believe in taking pride in doing our jobs. These are not just values we hang on a poster and forget about. Our values guide how we hire, how we

work together, how we serve our customers, and how we stand behind every sign that leaves our shop.

When you work with Leon’s Signs, you are working with a team of professionals that cares about putting your name on signage that we are proud of.

Our
Story

Leon’s Signs has been helping businesses get noticed since 1946.

Founded by Leon Graham, a returning World War II Merchant Marine, our company began with a simple standard: build quality signs, stand behind the work, and treat customers the right way.

That standard carried Leon’s Signs from a local sign shop into one of the most trusted sign manufacturers in East Texas.

For decades, our reputation has been built one project at a time. Drive in any direction from Tyler and you will pass signs we have designed, built, installed, or serviced. Some are simple and practical. Others are large, technical, highly visible projects that require planning, craftsmanship, equipment, permitting knowledge, electrical expertise, and field experience. We are proud of all
of them, because every sign represents a business, a brand, and a promise to the people it serves.

In 2017, Dan Verboski became the first non-family owner of Leon’s Signs. With that transition came a renewed commitment to growth, culture, training, and long-term excellence. The company began investing in equipment, expanding capacity, developing leaders, and raising expectations across the organization — not to move away from its roots, but to protect and strengthen what made Leon’s Signs successful in the first place.

Our goal is not simply to make signs. Our goal is to be the sign company businesses trust when the project matters.

That means doing the right thing, communicating clearly, solving problems, and making it right if something does not go as planned. It means taking pride in the details customers see — and the ones they never will. It means supporting our team, serving our community, and continuing to develop the next generation of sign industry professionals.

From small local businesses to complex multi-location projects, Leon’s Signs brings together experience, craftsmanship, technical knowledge, and accountability. We are proud of where we started, proud of the work we see across our region, and focused on building the future of signage in Texas.

Because a great sign does more than mark a location.

It tells people who you are.
