In 1946, Leon Graham returned to Texas and founded Leon’s Signs after serving in the Merchant Marines. From humble beginnings on East Erwin street in Tyler, we have been at our current location on the North Loop since 1965. We have over 20,000sqft of office, manufacturing, and paint space, and are a full-service sign manufacturer and installer. If you can imagine it, we can design it, build it, light it, install it, and service it. And we do it right here in East Texas.

KEY POINTS OF JOB DESCRIPTION:

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The duties and responsibilities of the Project Assistant include, but are not necessarily limited to the following:

  • Provide support for one or more Account Managers in all day to day activities
  • Provides the first contact for new sales leads. Obtaining, maintaining and gathering client information and inputting gathered information in the appropriate locations.

  • Create and gather sales documents for the purpose of providing assistance to the Account Managers.

  • Assist Account Managers and/or Project Managers in managing projects after the sale.

  • Assists with Business-to-Business lead generation and sales prospecting to include marketing and customer outreach.
  • Provide customer facility tours.
  • Close sales for defined product types.

  • Establish and maintain constant contact relationships with other sign companies, contractors, property managers, advertising firms and other industry leaders and business partners.
  • Provide front desk support when needed.
  • Attend required meetings, on time and prepared.
  • Maintain work area in an organized, neat and clean manner.
  • Maintain cooperative and positive working relationships with clients and coworkers.
